Inside Parks Chapel AME Church

You don’t have to travel to Los Angeles to worship in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) tradition.  Parks Chapel AME church is the oldest predominantly Black Church in the San Fernando Valley.  Therefore, if you live in San Fernando, Pacoima, Van Nuys, Reseda, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City or other Southern California neighborhoods join our African Methodist Episcopal (AME) services.  We welcome all races, ethnicities, religions  and genders to our AME Church services.

Typical Parks Chapel 8:00 AM Service

The service is a lot shorter than the 10:30 AM Service .  There is music choir is not present at this service.  The outline for a typical 8:00 AM is as follows:

The 8:00 AM service usually ends at 9:00 AM
