Referenced Scripture: John 20:23 “If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” Question: The second part of that sentence seems to have less clarity on what is being communicated. Is he saying they will have God’s wisdom to determine what sins are forgiven and what sins are not forgiven? Isn’t forgiveness given to all those who have committed sin and ask for forgiveness?
