Why Attend This AME Church Attending the 8:00 AM Parks Chapel AME Church  service is ideal for SanFernando Valley worshipers who want a faster paced service.   You don't have to travel to Los Angeles to worship in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) tradition.  Parks Chapel AME church is the oldest predominantly Black Church in the San Fernando Valley.  Therefore, if you live in San Fernando, Pacoima, Van Nuys, Reseda, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City or other Southern California neighborhoods join our African Methodist Episcopal (AME) services.  We welcome all races, ethnicities, religions  and genders to our AME Church services.
