Rabbi Sarah Hronsky, Senior Rabbi of Temple Beth Hillel, explained, “We are a community passionate about caring for the unhoused, and quickly identified the issues of homelessness, affordable housing and food insecurity as the most important areas of focus for the next mayor of LA.  We wanted to bring the candidates forward in dialogue with service providers and houses of faith, and with each other to both learn the candidates’ thoughts and to begin what we hope will be bridges that lead towards partnership of service once a candidate is elected.”  The goal is to go beyond generalities to discuss solutions to these problems and to show important models of collaborative action taking place in the San Fernando Valley.

The program, which will be livestreamed, will be held on Monday March 21, 2022 at Temple Beth Hillel, 12326 Riverside Drive, Valley Village, CA 91607.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the dialogue beginning at 7:00. Advanced registration is required to attend or to livestream the event.  Persons interested can register through: tinyurl.com/sfvfaithforum.  Masking and proof of vaccination is required if attending in person.
